Roles and Permissions

This section describes how to create and manage system users and assign appropriate roles and permissions.

Super Admin Role

A SuperAdmin has full access to all CMP portal features and functionality, including administrative capabilities, account management, and system configuration.

Functionality Permissions
Dashboard Access Allows users to view My Account and Sub-Account activity, usage maps, and in-use SIM data on the dashboard.
Billing Management Comprehensive access to billing, invoicing, and payment adjustments, including GL code settings and billing information for sub-accounts.
Rates and Fees Management Full access to view and upload rate and fee structures, with permissions to manage pricing and fees.
Reports Management Access to generate, schedule, edit, delete, and export reports, as well as access to signaling event logs.
Sub-Accounts Management Full access to manage sub-accounts, including viewing, creating, modifying, and deleting sub-accounts and related contacts, addresses, and external parameters. In addition, view-only access to billing and invoicing configuration.
SIM Management Full access to manage SIMs, including viewing, activating, suspending, and managing SIM profiles, signaling events, external parameters, and SIM plans.
Rules and Notifications Management Full permissions to manage notification channels and rules, including creating, modifying, and deleting rules and view notification logs.
Providers Management Full access to manage providers, including viewing and editing provider settings and managing sub-account providers.
Plans and Packages Management Full permissions to manage plans and packages, including creating, viewing, duplicating, and deleting packages, regular and pool plans, and managing assigned SIMs and external parameters.
User Management Full access to manage users, including viewing, creating, editing, deleting user profiles and managing user permission groups eligibility set.
Account Configuration Management Full access to account configuration settings, including managing labels, external parameters, device operation and SMS content configuration.
System Configuration and Security Management Access to system configuration and security settings, including viewing audit trails and uploading Terms of Use files.

Support Role

A Support role provides operational access to manage sub-accounts, SIMs, reports, rules and notifications, plans, and configurations.

Functionality Permissions

User Role

A User has access to manage billing, sub-accounts, SIMs, reports, Rules and notifications, plans, and user profiles, along with account configurations.

Read Only Role

A Read-Only role enables users to view My Account and Sub-Account activity, usage maps, and in-use SIM data on the dashboard.

Functionality Permissions
Dashboard Access Allows users to view My Account and Sub-Account activity, usage maps, and in-use SIM data on the dashboard.
Billing Viewer View-only access to billing and invoicing information, including GL code settings, with no permissions to make billing adjustment and changes.
Reports Viewer View-only access to reports, scheduled reports, report history, and signaling event logs, with export permissions but no edit or delete access.
Sub-Accounts Viewer View-only access to sub-account information, including contacts, addresses, billing and invoicing, configuration and external parameters, with no modification permissions.
SIM Viewer View-only access to SIM management features, including SIM profiles, signaling events, external parameters, and SIM plans, without permission to make changes.
Rules and Notifications Viewer View-only access to rules and notifications, including viewing notification logs, channels, and rules without permission to make changes.
Plans and Packages Viewer View-only access to plans and packages, allowing users to view packages, regular and pool plans, assigned SIMs, and external parameters without modification permissions.
Account Configuration Viewer View-only access to account configuration settings, allowing users to view labels, and external parameters.

SMB Role

The Small-Medium Business (SMB) role provides access tailored to SMB operational needs, including access to dashboards, products, SIM management, reports, notifications, ticketing, plans, and account configurations.
