    A
  • A monthly payment for usage of an active IMSI. The Access Fee price may vary depending on the IMSI Service Provider.
  • A hierarchical system entity representing a Customer or Provider.
  • The process of combining data usage from multiple entities (e.g. SIMs) from the same account.
  • Structure where accounts are organized in a hierarchical manner, with parent and child accounts.
  • The ID of the account defined in the system.
  • A plan type that charges customers based on account rates.
  • Limitations or permissions applied to an account when created
  • A plan of the Pool type where additional costs and quota are added with each new SIM added to the Pool.
  • The method by which the plan package is activated on a SIM to determine how SIMs are charged.
  • An Active SIM is a SIM card that is currently enabled and available for use. It can connect to the network, transmit data, and perform its intended functions.
  • Methods of determining activity for charging purposes
  • Charges applied for specific actions such as top-up, represented by GL Codes, used for accounting and tracking additional charges outside regular subscription and usage fees.
  • A notification triggered by a rule when certain conditions are met, typically indicating a predefined event or threshold has been reached.
  • Number of SIMs assigned to the plan.
  • The maximum amount of data or number of SMS allowed for a specific period.
  • Access Point Name (APN) is a gateway between a GSM, GPRS, 3G, or 4G mobile network and another computer network, usually the public Internet. The APN needs to be configured on the IoT device.
  • SIM cards attached to the plan.
  • Records and log all actions performed by users within the platform,including details such as timestamps, usernames, categories, types, and statuses of actions
  • Zones assigned to the plan, limiting device usage to specific locations and operators.
  • Profile picture associated with a user account.
  • B
  • A process that enables users to perform and manage SIM actions for multiple SIMs through CSV file uploads.
  • A module that enables manual billing adjustments for account transactions and downloading of account invoices to track payments.
  • The period over which SIM usage is measured for billing purposes.
  • Specifies the scope or context of a a rule to determine how the rule is applied, such as to an account, SIM, account aggregation, sell plan, or buy plan.
  • A plan created by the parent account for its sub accounts.
  • C
  • Indicates whether the threshold for the rule is based on a fixed amount or a percentage of the pre-paid money deposit.
  • A process in which the creation of a new sub-account (e.g., "C") under an existing sub-account (e.g., "B") prevents the new sub-account from accessing connectivity rates. This effect ensures consistent access control throughout all levels of sub-accounts.
  • Method of charging based on active devices.
  • Records charges on SIMs with pre-paid plans, including details such as offer, charge amount, currency, and transaction date.
  • Indicates whether the alert is triggered based on reaching a fixed amount or a percentage threshold.
  • The currency in which the charge is made.
  • An account subordinate to a parent account, often inheriting settings and configurations from the parent but with its own distinct attributes.
  • IP address associated with the client performing actions within the platform.
  • An application for setting and managing accounts, users, SIMs, Self-care, Rules & Alerts, Billing information and more.
  • Cloud-based solution for managing IoT connectivity.
  • Prices associated with data or SMS usage, typically measured in cost per MB or KB.
  • Explicit permission granted by a Super Admin user to enable specific service such as archiving and viewing of SMS content, allowing the platform to store and display SMS messages associated with SIM events.
  • A dashboard widget that shows a daily reckoning of account economic performance indicators, color-coded, over the user-defined length of time.
  • Refers to any global monetary coin unit used for billing., such as USD, EUR, GBP.
  • A plan type where rates are uploaded from an Excel file.
  • D
  • Charges for data usage and SMS messages, respectively.
  • Refers to the total data usage of SIMs over a defined period.
  • The amount of data usage, often measured in bytes, kilobytes, megabytes, or gigabytes.
  • Action to disable or make ineffective a setting or parameter.
  • A SIM that was previously active or used but has been permanently disabled.These SIMs cannot be reactivated and are essentially retired from service. No usage charges are incurred for deactivated SIMs. There might be a final billing period covering the time up to deactivation.
  • A mode in the Usage Summary per SIM report that generates a breakdown report for each SIM by Country, Provider, Network, and Plan Usage
  • Any IoT device that uses the system platform resources, such as SIM, IMSI.
  • Limit set for data usage by individual devices.
  • Restrictions placed on the usage of data and SMS volumes per SIM, with options to set limits or leave them unlimited.
  • Limit set for SMS usage by individual devices.
  • E
  • The eUICC Identifier (EID) provides a unique global serial number for an eUICC. Contains a fixed length of 32 digits
  • Tabular display of platform events including SIM events and associated SMS content, allowing users to view historical data and track activity within the platform.
  • Parameters and descriptions for events recorded in the system, including timestamps, identifiers, actions, error codes, locations, and more.
  • Determines when the plan expires.
  • The method by which the plan's expiration date is determined. Options include No Expiration (plan never expires), Fix date (plan expires on a chosen date), From the offer activation (validity starts upon SIM attachment), From Plan First Use (validity starts upon SIM's first use).
  • A method for adding, updating, and deleting external parameters for various entities (sub-accounts, billing plans, SIMs)
  • User-defined identifiers mapped with platform system entities such as Accounts, SIMs, and Billing Plans, used for managing platform entities based on user-specific identifiers.
  • F
  • A plan type with fixed rates for usage for all SIMs.
  • G
  • Gateway GPRS Support Node/Packet Data Network Gateway. Systems for configuring and managing data routing in mobile networks.
  • Sub categorization of GL Codes within a specific type, such as Data service or SMS service for Usage Fees, used for distinguishing between different types of usage charges.
  • A category of GL Code specifying the type of charge, such as Recurring Fees, Usage Fees, or Adjustment Fees, used for organizing and tracking different types of revenue and charges.
  • General Ledger Codes are alphanumeric aliases used in accounting processes to track business activity generated by SIM configuration and billing plans within specific sub-accounts.
  • Geographic area or network segment associated with usage-based charges, represented by GL Codes, used for defining specific billing parameters for different regions or networks.
  • H
  • Home Location Register/Home Subscriber Server. Systems used for managing subscriber profiles, RAT Types, IMSI/MSISDN ranges, and more.
  • An interface that allows applications to receive real-time notifications or data updates to web servers or endpoints over HTTP.
  • Notification channels that designate URLs as notification destinations.
  • A channel used to send alerts via HTTP to a designated URL, including mandatory fields like channel name, URL, and shared key.
  • A shared key used to ensure communication integrity between the platform and the target URL for HTTP push API notifications.
  • I
  • Integrated Circuit Card Identifie, a unique serial number associated with a SIM card.
  • International Mobile Equipment Identity, a unique GSM modem ID.
  • An event trigger for detecting changes in the IMEI associated with a SIM card.
  • An event trigger for detecting when a device's IMEI is initially attached to a SIM card.
  • A rule type for monitoring IMEI-related events such as initial detection or changes.
  • The IMEI number with an additional designation for the device firmware/software version
  • International Mobile Subscriber Identity, a 14/15-digit unique number used to identify mobile subscribers. The IMSI number comprises three components: MCC, MNC, and MSIN. - MCC: 3-digit country identifier - MNC: operator identifier (two or three digits) - MSIN: identifier for the connected device (nine or 10 digits)
  • A SIM that has been provisioned but is not yet activated. hese SIMs are not yet operational and cannot connect to the network until they are activated.Typically, no usage charges are incurred until the SIM is activated. Also referred to as Pre-Active SIM.
  • The duration of inactivity that triggers the alert.
  • Specifies the type of inactivity being monitored by an Inactivity rule, such as Network Inactivity or Usage Consumption Inactivity.
  • A bill generated and sent to customers at the end of a Billing Cycle.
  • A module for viewing and downloading of generated account invoices and monthly reports in various formats.
  • A table listing uploaded invoices, sortable by Upload Date or Invoice Name, accessible per account.
  • L
  • Enables customers to lock SIMs to devices (IMEI) by setting up account permissions.
  • Feature that enables locking and unlocking of SIMs based on associated International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI).
  • Feature enabling a parent super admin to access the system on behalf of a sub-account user.
  • M
  • Precise adjustments to billing by account or by ICCID, correcting discrepancies, applying discounts, making refunds, or adjusting charges.
  • Additional charge or price applied to service rates, either as a percentage or a fixed price.
  • Mobile Country code, a GSM unique ID for every country.
  • Mobile Network Code, a unique Operator ID within a country.
  • Compares the number of SIMs/IMSIs and their service (data, SMS) usage volumes between two selected months.
  • Mobile Station International Subscriber Directory Number, a phone number associated with a SIM card.
  • System architecture where multiple users or tenants share the same infrastructure.
  • Configuration, management, and control of multiple IMSIs assigned to a single SIM card to enable seamless connectivity.
  • Module for creating and managing sub-accounts linked to a parent account.
  • N
  • The absence of activity or communication from a SIM card within a specified network, typically monitored to detect potential issues or anomalies.
  • Channels through which notifications are sent, such as email addresses or HTTP URLs, configured in the Notifications Module.
  • A text description provided within a notification to convey relevant information or context regarding the triggered event or condition.
  • Logs listing all notifications sent from the system, including information such as notification type, source, action name, account name, ICCID, delivery status, timestamps, and retry time.
  • The module of the platform where the rule triggering the notification was created.
  • The method by which alerts generated by a rule are delivered to users, either via Email or HTTP (Push API).
  • Indicates the conditions under which an alert is triggered, such as when a threshold is reached or when inactivity is detected.
  • O
  • Refers to individual service providers or operators within a country.
  • A wizard that guides you through the SIMs ordering process.
  • A method to configure or update SIM cards wirelessly, without physical connection.
  • P
  • A package is a contained for a single or multiple plans up to the maximum allowed for a single subscriber
  • The main or primary account within a hierarchical account structure, typically having control over child accounts and associated resources.
  • Rates set by the parent account, viewed per country
  • A package that defines the terms and conditions for SIM usage, including cost, renewal period, activation type, prorated status, etc.
  • The day the plan is allocated to the SIM, serving as the base day for renewal.
  • The association of SIM cards or accounts with specificplans, governing their usage, billing, and other related aspects.
  • The monetary cost of the Plan over the Renewal Period
  • Comprehensive information about a plan, including tabs such as Plan Details, Assigned SIMs, External Parameters, and Customize Rates.
  • Determines when the plan expires.
  • The name of the plan attached to the account or SIM.
  • Plans that offer specific rates for services like Data or SMS.
  • Specifies the interval at which the plan is renewed.
  • Includes Regular Plan, PoolPlan and Rated Plan
  • Includes both the Access Fee and Surcharge Fee. When creating a plan, users can select the "Included in Plan" option to exclude calculation of the Platform Fee in billing transactions.
  • A plan designed for managing and charging multiple SIMs under a single plan and quota.
  • A Product (also referred to as product services) refers to ongoing, automatic payment for services such as Access Point Name (APN), Virtual Private Network (VPN) and premium Service Level Agreements (SLAs) etc.
  • Indicates if the plan is prorated or not.
  • An MNO that provides IMSIs and MSISDNs to be used by the platform.
  • Q
  • The unit of measurement for the quantity, such as MB or SMS.
  • R
  • A plan that applies specific rates for usage, such as per unit of data or SMS.
  • A document specifying rates for SIM services
  • Charges applied periodically (e.g., monthly) for SIM usage, represented by GL Codes, used for accounting and tracking subscription-based revenue.
  • A standard plan for SIM connectivity services.
  • The specific day or date when the plan is renewed.
  • The frequency at which the plan is automatically renewed.
  • Interval at which the plan is renewed automatically.
  • Classification defining the level of permissions and access granted to a user, such as Super admin, Support, User, and Read only.
  • A set of conditions and actions that trigger alerts or notifications based on predefined criteria.
  • The process of activating a new or suspended rule, allowing it to become active and trigger alerts.
  • The process of setting up and defining the parameters of a rule, including its type, scope, and conditions for triggering alerts.
  • Specific parameters and settings associated with a rule, including its name, description, application scope, and threshold values.
  • A unique alphanumeric identifier for the rule.
  • The temporary halt of a rule's execution, often done to troubleshoot issues or prevent unwanted alerts.
  • A classification that determines the purpose and behavior of a rule, such as Usage, Rate, Money, First Event, Pool, or Inactivity.
  • A table displaying limited information for each rule, including attributes like Rule Name, Rule Type, Active status, Binding Type, Apply On (Account), and Notification Type.
  • S
  • A feature allowing accounts to upload Buy Rates for allocated providers, activated at the discretion of the Parent account.
  • A package containing a single or multiple plans that the parent customer creates to charge childe sub accounts. Also known as “Customer Package”
  • Subscription plan associated with a particular SIM or set of SIMs, represented by GL Codes for Recurring Fees and Usage Fees, used for defining subscription-based billing parameters. Sell Plans are created by user and assigned to customer SIMs, Buy Plans are provided by the Parent account
  • Period after which a user session expires due to inactivity.
  • Subscriber Identity Module, a smart card containing a unique identification number that enables access to mobile networks. A SIM card may contain one or more IMSIs. A SIM card can use different form factor such as plastic card or as embedded modules.
  • Activate, Suspend, SIM, Action, Status, SIM Activate, SIM Suspend
  • Assigning an alias to SIMs manually or using batch operation, requires SIM UUID and Alias Name.
  • The ability of a SIM card to establish and maintain connections to mobile networks, enabling communication and data transfer.
  • The type of identifier used for SIMs, such as IMSI, ICCID, EID, MSISDN.
  • Tags assigned to SIMs for grouping, filtering, and performing actions or bulk operations. Includes SIM UUID and Label Name to identify a specific SIM.
  • Functionality that enables Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) to manage and provision SIMs.
  • Defines the SIM's technical status, such as Suspended, Activated etc.
  • Interface allowing Super Admin users to configure consent settings for archiving and viewing SMS content, enabling or disabling the storage and display of SMS messages associated with SIM events.
  • Textual content of SMS messages associated with SIM events, archived and displayed in the Events Table by the platform, subject to Super Admin consent.
  • Short Message Service Center. A mobile telecommunication network element that stores, forwards, converts, and delivers SMS messages and maintains unique timestamps in text or binary messages.
  • Software delivery model where software is hosted on a cloud and accessed via the internet.
  • An account owned by and subordinate to the Parent account.
  • Markups specific to a single country within a sub-account
  • Markups applicable to all countries and provider-operators within a sub-account
  • An additional monthly fee made by a network provider on top of the Access Fee. Surcharge fees may differ per country and per network provider.
  • A Suspended SIM is a SIM card that has been temporarily disabled and cannot connect to the network or perform any data transmission or communication.
  • T
  • A predetermined value or condition that, when met or exceeded, triggers an alert or action within a rule.
  • Add credit or funds to a SIM card or a pool plan.
  • Records top-up transactions performed on SIMs, including details such as amount, currency, and transaction date.
  • U
  • The IPv4 address allocated to the device.
  • The consumption or utilization of services, such as data volume or SMS messages, typically monitored and managed by usage-based rules.
  • Records all rated (charge-incurring) CDRs or DRs generated by all account SIMs, detailing data and SMS usage over a defined period.
  • Charges applied based on actual SIM usage, including data and SMS usage, represented by GL Codes, used for accounting and tracking pay-as-you-go revenue.
  • Records the daily total data and SMS usage of all SIMs in an account, including usage volume and charges incurred over a defined period.
  • A Used SIM refers to a SIM card that has been active and has already engaged in network activities, such as transmitting data or making calls. It indicates that the SIM has a usage history.

  • Specific zones where the plan can be used, limiting device usage to selected countries and operators.
